Tailor
Job Description :-
Alters garment and joins parts, using needle and thread or sewing machine, to form finished garment.
Alters existing pattern to fit customer's measurements.
Sews buttons and buttonholes to finish garment.
Presses garment, using hand iron or pressing machine.
Confers with customer to determine type of material and garment style desired.
Measures customer for size, using tape measure and records measurements.
Fits basted garment on customer and marks areas requiring alterations.

Qualifications :-
An interest in textiles, fashion, design and trends.
Knowledge of fabric types and their properties.
Excellent hand-sewing and machining skills.
Creativity and the ability to visualize designs.
Number skills for measuring.
IT skills to use computer software in the design process.
Pattern construction and cutting skills.
The ability to put clients at ease.
A patient and tactful manner.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
The ability to maintain concentration, sometimes for long periods.
A smart appearance.
Fair in English both speaking and listening.

Work location : Bangkok
shift (12:00-21.00)
You may need to work occasional evenings and weekends to carry out customer fittings.
You would be based in a sewing room, which may be attached to a shop or fitting customer on the sale floor. You may spend a lot of time doing close-up work.
